To be honest, I have not been consistent with keeping my photos intact. In fact, I lost some photos which are very dare to me because I failed to do a backup. Sometimes, I would back up my photos and for many months, I would not mind. Do you backup your photos regularly?
I think we are in the era of smart homes and there are a lot of smart devices we used to make life easier in our various homes. For me, it's the smart bulb. It gives me the freedom to switch the light whichever way I want it from my mobile phone, which is a great technology. What about you?
I think there are some devices that are overly exaggerated. I mean, based on the functions that they perform. A typical example is smartwatch. I see the ads just about everywhere online and I think the use of this device is exaggerated. What do you think?
For those of us that were born in the mid 80s, I think a majority of us would prefer using the keyboard because that was what we grew up with. I embrace the mechanical keyboard more than the screen touch because I'm used to it, especially when I want to type lengthy articles for my blog. But...
I found some old devices to bring back old memories and I still have one or two of them in my wardrobe. I kept them not for the value but for the nostalgia because it brings back those good old memories I had in the university days. The MP3 I used in the uni tops the list.
What about you?
I’ve faced one before and I will never forget that day ????. Back then when I was in a remote area where there are bushes everywhere, then one big snake just showed up near our backyard. Before I knew it, the thing started moving towards me. I ran like I was chasing a world record. ????
I like German Shepherds. They look serious but still playful, and they’re probably the most loyal dog I have seen. One of my friends had one called Bruno back in Uni. That dog is just too loyal and he follows him everywhere like bodyguard ????.
I’d go for a parrot. Those birds are just too funny. They talk, they copy your voice, and they don't give you stress like dogs. I remember my uncle had one back in the day, it used to shout “madam!” anytime someone knocked the door ????. I’d love that kind vibe around the house.
If I can hold like $2 million, I will definitely disappear for a while ????. And I wouldn't live flashy life, I just want peace of mind. I could do a little travelling when I like and maybe run one small side business for fun.
We need to talk more like humans, not brands. I’ve seen forums where admins actually gist with members and that thing alone keeps people coming back. Even little things like shoutouts or “member of the week” can make people feel noticed. At the end of the day, the community would feel like a...
My best approach is, Ignore them. I used to reply before, but it only made things worse. Now I just laugh, block, and move on. You can’t argue sense into someone that logged in to insult.
Nothing beats a good plate of jollof rice with fried plantain and grilled chicken. I always run to “The Place” when I’m too tired to cook. Their jollof is one in town. But when at home, I like making yam porridge as it's easier to prepare.
Write things down! I swear, once I started making small to-do lists, my life improved. I use my phone notes, it's nothing fancy but it works. I also try to do the most difficult tasks first thing in the morning before I get tired ????. And if you need rest, make sure you do because burnout can...
I think music is my favourite. Once I plug in my earphones and play my favourite, peace will creep in from nowhere. Sometimes I sit outside at night with a chilled cold drink. That also hit differently as well.
From what I’ve seen, there’s awareness growing, but I still believe that it's not enough compared to the problems that the animals face. I like how some NGOs are actually educating communities about not poaching. People think it’s not our problem, but they need to know that everything is...
