General Complex PTSD diagnosis

Last year I was told that I have C-PTSD and I have to say that it has really helped me to understand why I am the way I am. I was diagnosed with BPD quite a few years ago but I don't really meet the criteria in a lot of areas but since the C-PTSD diagnosis, I am joining the dots and I am learning so much. I've been in the mental health system for 30 years and it's only now that I am making sense of my traumatic childhood.

I think it really help when you're given a diagnosis. it makes sense of the way we're feeling.
