Well, plays are basically written for performance, but not all plays are performed and a lot of plays are also a good read. In recent times, I haven't read much plays but in the past I used to read a lot of plays. I was very much impressed with plays from George Bernard Shaw, Samuel Beckett, and Jon Fosse. Do you read plays?
