I used to be in the camp where I was reluctant to re-read books because I felt that once I had finished a book, I should move on to something else. I felt that after reading a book once, I had absorbed the knowledge and entertainment from the book. I wanted to move onto something new so that I could learn something different. There are so many books that I would never be able to read if I kept re-reading books
Many people start gaining a lots of knowledge by reading books. This is one of the main reasons why reading books is considered one of the best hobbies. You do not need to memorize the entire book. You can just learn parts that are useful to you and this can help you a lot in the future.
