Do you use a VPN to stream shows that aren't available in your country?
We all know that Netflix has a different lineup when it comes to shows in different countries. They're constantly dropping shows and movies for others all the time. Do you use a VPN so you can gain access to another country's shows? I haven't done this yet, I've been wanting to get a VPN for privacy reasons and I think it would be cool to see what other countries have on Netflix and other streaming services. I think it could make it easier to also stream shows from the BBC too here in the US. It's difficult to find episodes of Don't Hug Me I'm Scared. (Other than the Youtube series.)
Yes, I use them because sometimes some shows don't work in my country. I used one cheap VPN last year and it worked well. But I still feel that content should be global.
I tried VPN once and gave up. The speed drop really annoyed me. I'd rather wait or just not watch. Plus the data drains very fast. If streaming platforms remember Africa more maybe people won’t bother.
