Some people are so emotional that they can't turn down someone's request without feeling guilty about it. They just can't stand stand firm and tell someone "No" without their conscience making them feel bad.

Do you find it easy to turn down requests that don't favour you and don't feel guilty about it? How can people grow to that stage that they can turn down unfavorable requests without feeling bad?

I am a kind of person that always maintain my ground regardless of the situation. The firm response I give when I'm in a precarious situation is that it of choosing myself before others. I don't feel remorseful at all, I am usually not an emotional person. I try as much as possible to create a balance between firmness and favouritism.
