If smoking was good for you, everyone would be smoking. People can say what they want about conspiracies, anti-smoking ‘nutcases’, and what not. But consider that at one time, smoking was very much socially accepted and even encouraged. At that time, the majority of people did it, and it was actually highly respected to the point that even nonsmokers kept cigarettes to give to smoking guests. It was actually the anti-smoking folks who were on the fringes in those days. If smoking was actually GOOD for you, there would have been NO REASON for any of this to change

I stopped smoking in the year 2012. I never got addicted to it in the first place. The brain chemistry of people is quite different. Not all the people who smoke get addicted to it. Havi g said that, if smoking were actually good for health, then certainly a lots of people would start smoking. However, isn't it strange that despite knowing the hazards of smoking cigarettes, people still continue to smoke?

I smoked for 20 years. Started when I was 10. Back then, you could buy it at the store and say it was for your dad. Quit smoking when vaping came in. Then, finally, I quit vaping when my 12-year-old stepdaughter told me I should quit. Quit cold turkey the next day and never went back.

This is beautiful. Breaking an addiction is not as easy as many would think and this is the reason I commend you for being able to achieve that.

I agree 100% because if it was actually good, hospitals would be recommending it and they won't be warning people. It's same way nobody warns you about drinking water too much, but cigarettes have warning written big on the pack.
