Is Denis Villeneuve the Director Defining This Era of Large-Scale Cinema?
Until Dune I hadn't heard of Denis Villeneuve. I believe the Dune films set a new standard for spectacle mixed with restraint. Do you think Denis Villeneuve will continue steering sci-fi in this direction? Which of his large-scale sequences did you like? What story would you trust him with after finishing the Dune series?
Frankly speaking, I never heard of this director until I watched Dune. Maybe because I am not much into sci-fi genre. I think Denis Vileneuve has done a great work on Dune movies.
