Life & Health Marrying someone with a 10 years gap: Is it marrying from another generation?

Age gaps are very important in marriage. If a couple has a ten years gap between them, does it mean that each of them is marrying someone from a different generation?

I have seen many couples with huge age difference but they are doing great. My grandaunt and grand uncle just celebrated 75 years of marriage last year. And they are the best couple I have ever seen in my life. They are 13 years apart. I have a age gap of 7.5 years with my husband and I have never found that an issue.
