General What's the best advice you've ever received, and from whom?

My uncle once said to me "Don’t force success; prepare yourself so when the chance arrives, you won’t miss it." Then, I didn’t grasp the meaning but now I do. Plenty of people want to achieve great things yet they aren’t developing the necessary skills for them. It's a simple advise with deep meaning

The best advice that I have received is from my mom. And she told me that keeping people who don't believe in my dreams around me would ultimately make me lose my dream. And that advise has really helped me to determine my inner circle.
